The food is consistently good quality and quantity is generous. The kitchen does a great job. The service is solid. I eat here often and highly recommend it.

We've been to and ordered from Governor Francis many times. Tonight, we ordered pickup. I ordered the LARGE baked stuffed sole served with lobster bisque, soup, pilaf and steamed broccoli. The sides were good, but I'm very disappointed with the stuffed sole. The fish wrapped around the stuffing was so thin, I couldn't taste it. There is way too much stuffing and not enough fish.

We haven't been in awhile and came last night for dinner. There was a 20 minute wait to be seated but worth it! The food was delicious and the portions are huge. We got appetizers of stuffed mushrooms and mozzarella sticks. The mushrooms were so good. For dinner, I ordered eggplant parm and my husband got the Italian dinner I believe, chicken parm, sausage, peppers with pasta. Our waitress was very attentive and checked in on us regularly, making sure we didn't need anything or was quick to get a refill of our drinks. We will definitely come back because the menu has many good options!

I've been here many times for dinner before covid. (They were a bit over the top with masks, so we stopped coming for a while) We noticed they now serve breakfast in the mornings, I don't think many people know this as it wasn't too busy when we arrived. Right off the bat, our waitress was on top of getting us drinks. She was pleasant, attentive, and very personable. We ordered breakfast, and I got the veggie omelet, grilled bagel, and home fries. My husband got over easy eggs, bacon, and toast. Food arrived quickly and hot. Everything was excellent except for the home fries. They were orange and were devoid of any flavor except paprika. Next time, I will pass on the home fries because, as I said, everything else was excellent.
